  13. If the board isn't comming up in 030 mode it can be from several reasons.

  15. 1) If your using a Dataflyer drive, that might be the problem. I had to send 
  16.    my dataflyer controller to be upgraded so that it will work with the VXL.

  18. 2) I also had problems with my VXL continuosly crashing the machine. I sent it
  19.    back to Microbotics and they shipped me a replacement.

  21. as for the CPU speed, there should be a crystal (a silver metal box) which
  22. should have the speed in MHz printed on it 25.000Mhz is 25Megahertz, 50.000Mhz
  23. is fifty.

  25. You don't need an FPU installed for the board to work.
